About Me

Hey, I'm Berkin — a software engineer at EPAM Systems with 4+ years across enterprise-scale e-commerce platforms (Angular Spartacus, Next.js, Vue Storefront, MACH architectures). I work on multi-brand, multi-language storefronts serving thousands of customers and lead frontend architecture decisions across them.

Over the last two years I've been investing heavily in AI — certified across Google AI, Anthropic (Claude), and Azure AI programs, and leading AI-driven transformation initiatives inside the company. I prototype agent-assisted workflows, redesign internal pipelines around LLM tooling, and run internal seminars and trainings to help engineering teams move from ad-hoc AI usage to systematic adoption. The productivity gap between teams who use these tools well and teams who don't is widening fast; my job is to close that gap.

Outside the day job I build small tools that scratch real itches — Vectorio (browser-based SVG → component generator), Mockator (AI-powered mock data with multi-provider BYOK), JobApplyTracker, TryJS — and I write here about the engineering tradeoffs behind each of them. Most ship in a weekend; the post takes longer than the build.

I value clarity, iteration, and learning by doing — whether that's shipping a side project, mentoring a junior, or untangling a legacy migration. Curious by default, allergic to ceremony, biased toward shipping.
